Spirit tiles are laid out in rows in the middle of the table. Each turn, a player drafts up to two spirits from either end of any row(s), collect favour tokens, and moves, places, or recovers gemstones.
Play continues until all of the spirits have been collected. The player with the most of each of the 9 types of spirits scores them (which can be affected by favour tokens). Highest score wins.
There is a solo variant in which, each time the player drafts a tile, a ghost opponent drafts one. At the end of the game, if the player has a higher score than the ghost, they win.
