When the game starts, there are tiles in a grid that make up the board, as well as side boards that have pegs for current rules and the current goal (not that there is one yet).
Players play cards from their hands and move their pieces around the board, or move board tiles around entirely, to try to be the first person with their pawns on the squares for the current goal.
Cards include:
Goals, which picture at least one board space required to win.
New Rules, which can increase or decrease how many cards you can draw or play per turn, or implement or change a hand limit, or something else completely, but always affect everybody for as long as they're in play.
Actions, which allow you to do something and then get discarded.
Keepers, which allow you to move your pawn directly to that space, regardless of where on the board it was.
Good. The box itself is scuffed and marked, and there is no insert, but the contents are all excellent.
