Each player plays as the Doctor and his companions, trying to save their locations from threats while placing threats on other players' locations.

Ability to read English is recommended
Player tokens are cardboard chits with the same pictures (dalek & TARDIS) in different colours, which may be difficult for some players to differentiate. Substitutions could be made, but it might affect the feel of the game.
Hidden knowledge - the game works best when players don't know what cards other players have in their hands.
Ability to hold (and shuffle) cards is recommended, or use of assistive devices.
