Jamie is a board game enthusiast who likes a challenge. He knows the disappointment of losing pieces to your favourite game and it just not being the same afterward, as well as buying games used only to have the new-to-you game missing pieces, sometimes making it unplayable.

Taking that risk for you, Jamie buys games and then meticulously checks that every component is present and in good condition. When he inevitably finds something that isn't, he fixes it, whether that means repairing a box with transparent and long-lasting tapes, or replacing a set of dice so they all match, or photocopying a card and sleeving the deck so the difference isn't noticeable.

His goal is to remove the risk of disappointment from buying used games, and to make it so losing one piece doesn't mean you have to throw out the entire game.

Jamie's favourite games are Albion's Legacy, Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot, I Say Holmes, and Trivial Pursuit: Bet You Know It.

When not playing or fixing board games, Jamie spends time playing video games with his partner and playing with their dog Eddie, who is a very good boy.
